The Joint Entrance Examination 2008 (JEE-2008) for admission to the Under Graduate Courses in the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorke), IT-BHU, Varanasi and Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad, will be held on April 13, 2008 (Sunday).
The Examination will have two papers, each having 3 separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Paper-1 will be from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper-2 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Both papers will be objective type and will be designed to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of the candidate.
Applications could be submitted in the paper format or online (internet based).
The sale of Applications through designated branches of Banks and at all IITs will commence on November 23 and will continue till January 4, 2008.
Online submission of Applications will also commence on 23rd November.
The last date for receipt of completed application forms at IITs will be January 4, 2008.

Dubai centre

There will be one single centre at Dubai, UAE. The cost of application forms for candidates appearing from Dubai centre will be US$ 50 irrespective of gender/ category. This year the Dubai centre will be governed by IITB. It is preferable that candidates who wish to apply from Dubai centre opt and apply for on-line registration at the URL, (http:/www.jee.iitb.ac.in). . However, a limited number of paper application forms for JEE 2008 are available at Indian High School, P.O.Box 106, Dubai, UAE.

The schedule of the examination will be April 13, 2008 (Sunday).

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad is the premier Business School at Hyderabad and recognised as a "Centre of Excellence" by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India for doctoral studies.
The Program
The PGDBM is an intensive, practice-oriented course designed to educate, train and equip students with managerial skills to lead and transform organisations to meet the challenges of globalisation and competition in the new millennium.

Eligibility
The candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC) or equivalent in any discipline.
Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination (or equivalent examination) can also apply. The Proof of acquiring the required qualification should be submitted by 30th June, 2008.
Selection
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in CAT,GD & PI and consistent academic record.
IPE uses CAT for shortlisting the candidates IIMS have no role in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.
Application
In addition to appearing at the CAT 2007, candidates will have to obtain, fill in and submit the IPE application form to IPE by December 10, 2007.The form can be obtained from the Admissions Officer, IPE, O.U. Campus, Hyderabad-500 007 by payment in case of Rs.750/- (including registration fee) or by a DD for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of Institute Of Public Enterprise, payable at Hyderabad to obtain by post.
